I took the ferry to Muscat today: the fastest passenger ferry in the world, woohooo ! The best part of the journey was the beginning: the ferry drove around the Musandam peninsula with its distinctive fjords. Later when we reached the open sea my new T-Shirt proved its conversation starter qualities again. I was approached by members of a swiss tour group who were on a spice-themed journey around southern India and Oman. In the end I even appeared here:
