Today in 3 words: flat, hot, headwind. Not the best of cycling experiences. Sometimes the headwind made things a little less hot, but sometimes it made things even worse. Imagine you are baking a cake and want to check if it is done - this very heatwave when opening the oven was what I had in my face between 1.30 and 3.30 pm.
But riding through India at this time of year also has some advantages: Mango season has started! That means: many street stalls are selling icecold mango squish for 10 rupees/glass (that's less than 0,20 €) - or sometimes, like today, they won't even let the foreign cyclist pay - very nice people!
