Day 100 Tokmak - Sarkisla

Yay ! 100 days on the road !
I celebrated it by cycling more than 100km and hitting a new altitude record: 1775m ! All this in a remarkably unremarkable landscape - not ugly, not at all, just unremarkable: hills covered by yellowish-brownish fields under a cloudy sky. After a couple of days in the mindblowing landscape of cappadocia this was just the right thing to prevent sensory overload. The clouds looked even more eerie than yesterday but still no rain. Furthermore they kept the temperatures up in the night - an important aspect in a tent at more than 1000m.
My destination Sarkisla surprised me as a small but very wealthy town - with many buildings sporting beautiful mosaics on their facades. Sorry, no pictures of this today - it already got dark when I arrived. Maybe there will be some tomorrow :o)
